At its 23 October 2026 briefing, updated on 27 October, the Digital Agency described patching and a review across government systems following the National Cybersecurity Office’s 21 October warning about PHP vulnerabilities.
The agency said it had received no reports of related damage at that point. This was a time-specific statement, not proof that no attack or loss had occurred anywhere.
Businesses were urged to apply fixes promptly and consider risk reduction, including temporary website suspension where immediate patching was impracticable.
